It's the last week of Garden Club for Term 1! To celebrate, we have made either pizza or pasta, depending on the weather! Passata sauce was made a few weeks ago from all our beautiful tomatoes, and basil, garlic, rosemary, rocket and capsicums were used from the garden. As usual, Gluten free and Dairy free options were available. Several students were excited to taste capsicum for the first time, because as we know, growing, nurturing and harvesting your own produce has these magical benefits! There were lots of "I don't like passata" or "I don't like tomatoes" This quickly changed after tasting, and students were lining up for seconds. We are very proud of kids working together in teams to make these delicious dishes. We look forward to the $20,000 kitchen we won being installed so we can create bigger and better things!!
